An amazing word of mouth campaign for Goodwill

IMG_1842IMG_1839IMG_1844An empty box shows up via UPS. Inside is a map from my house to the nearest Goodwill donation center.

This simple, elegant, inexpensive campaign was so remarkable that I told everyone I saw, for weeks. I showed the box to everyone who came to my office.

Which is the whole point of word of mouth marketing: Give people a reason to talk about you.

And that doesn’t take a big budget, a gimmicky street team, or some “experiential marketing” program.

You just need one great reason to talk.

h Andy, that is absolutely brilliant and could be used by so many types of business in so many other ways.

They should stick those in the bottom of Amazon boxes. My wife’s got free Prime and there’s boxes in our foyer every few days.
