I love Top Gear, the show, to begin with because it’s fun, and yes, has cool cars and races. Now, I love them even more! The show’s hosts have great senses of humor. And plenty of personality for miles. That’s right – I have a show ‘crush.’ If only more business brands would lighten up a bit. To your point, Andy, brand personality matters. It’s fun, memorable, and “conversational” – the key impetus for word of mouth momentum. More companies need to ask themselves who they are as a brand and use that essence to their viral advantage. BBC – with all its shows – has billed itself as a little “Brit” different, and fun is a key part of not only Top Gear, the show, but an accurate reflection of a quirky, fun, and different network. Now, that pic is worth talking about. AMEN!
