With a little help from my friends … part 1

One of the best ways to get word of mouth for a blog is to participate in a group project with a bunch of other bloggers. Why?  Because when the project is done, all the blogger link to each other, generating tons  of mutual links.  And there’s nothing more important to a blog’s success than lots of links.

I did a post like this a few days ago, when I announced that I was one of the new interim board members of the Social Media Club … and everyone else did the same.  40 blogs each linking to 40 other bloggers = 1 gazillion mutual links.

Check it out here.
