It would be interesting to see, in the long run, whether social media works for, or against, controversial companies such as Tyson Foods. In the past few years, companies have become, in a way, much more transparent. Coupled with the rise of social media, more and more people are able to voice and share their opinions on such companies.
Just like how Facebook can be both a career breaker or a networking tool, I wonder if Tyson Foods’ exposure through social media will backfire.
