Stopping the sharing #2

Google share

I just wanted to email this great new Google app to my wife.

I don’t use Gmail. She doesn’t use Google+. So, I didn’t share.

Only Google loses here.

Lesson: Let people share any way they want.

More sharing choices = more sharing = more customers. That helps you more than making people share in a certain way.

I agree. I always try to put up ALL options on blog sharing for instance, even if they look a bit bunk, even if the networks aren’t based in the US. I just like to give people the opportunity to share, easily, with whom they desire. And I also know how much I dislike being told how or where to share as well.

I wanted to comment on a blog recently. But the blogger had changed something. I had to be a member of Google+ to make a comment. (I’m not.) When clicking in the comment space, I was taken to the page to sign up for Google+. I didn’t comment.
