thanks for reporting on this. What a fun and cleaver way to play with one’s brand. They really found an interesting way to keep their customer engaged while eating nuts. The other thing I liked about the letter was how they used the free coupon as a means to cross-sell the customer to another flavor by simply inviting them to try the other wonderful flavors.
As a database marketing professional and marketing analyst I would love to analyze the results of this type of marketing.

They’re a truly good brand– quality product, clear ‘personality’, and a guarantee that they follow up on (I confess, when I buy them I’m always looking for that ‘closed nut’). Every package has a little comic, too.
