Fake reviews will destroy your reputation

If you write fake reviews for your own business -- you will be caught.  Everyone knows a fake review when they see one.

Here's what will happen:

1. Web sites where you post the fake review will ban you or tell their readers that you're a liar. Sites that take customer reviews build their entire brand around trustworthiness. When you post a fake review, you hurt their reputation.  They're not going to risk their site's reputation over your lies. They'll take you down first.

2. Customers will know you're a liar. They won't be coming back.

If you need more positive reviews, ask your customers to post them.  Any decent business will have no problem getting fans to show their support.

Posting fake reviews for your own business will destroy your reputation. Is it worth it?

Not to mention that if you're in Europe, it's illegal.
